Vacancies: Professional Conduct Committee registrant members
We are appointing two osteopaths to join the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) from 1 February 2018.
The PCC hears and adjudicates on complaints referred to it by the Investigating Committee. Complaints relate to professional misconduct or incompetence, or cases where an osteopath has been convicted of a criminal offence. PCC members also sit on the Health Committee which considers cases where an osteopath’s health may impair their ability to practise.
We are looking for committed individuals with a demonstrable interest in regulation of the osteopathy profession, and able to work well in a team to reach fair and objective decisions. The remuneration for both roles is £306 per day, travel and subsistence expenses are also refundable.
Closing date: noon on 29 November 2017.
