Council and Committee vacancies
We are currently recruiting for the following:
We are seeking two osteopath members to join our Professional Conduct Committee and Health Committee. This is a chance to play a key role in fair, evidence-based decision-making for a modern, inclusive healthcare regulator.
About the Professional Conduct Committee and Health Committee

These relate to professional misconduct, incompetence or where an osteopath is convicted of a criminal offence. Professional Conduct Committee members also sit on the Health Committee, which considers cases where an osteopath’s health may impair their ability to practise.

We welcome applications from people who value fairness, independence and public protection. You will be able to weigh up complex evidence, exercise sound judgement, and appreciate both the importance of safeguarding the public and the contribution osteopaths make to healthcare.
At the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), we believe diversity strengthens our work. We encourage applications from the widest possible field of candidates across the UK and particularly welcome applications from people living or working in Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Wales.
