Featuring new Osteopathic Practice Standards, reducing the costs of regulation, recruiting a new Chair, and more.
The June/July issue of The Osteopath is now available.
This issue highlights the forthcoming publication of the new Osteopathic Practice Standards. These will be distributed to osteopaths in July and will take effect from 1 September 2012.
This issue also features the pilot of our draft revalidation scheme, which will begin this autumn and includes a report on the last Council meeting held in April.
Other articles focus on reducing the cost of regulation; recruiting a new GOsC Chair; the consultation on guidance about student fitness to practise; and the recent International Osteopathic Education conference.
