GOsC Strategy 2024-2030 published

Our new Strategy sets the direction of our work over the next six years.

The Strategy, which takes the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) from April 2024 through to March 2030, sets the direction of our work and what we hope to achieve, and is shaped by our values.

The values, recently agreed by Council, underpin the way we work with patients and the public, osteopaths and key partners as well as how we work within our organisation. These are the first set of values agreed and published for the GOsC.

The Strategy also provides a framework for the monitoring of GOsC’s performance by Council.

The goals and activities we plan to achieve are divided into the following three key priority areas:

GOsC’s Chief Executive and Registrar Matthew Redford said: ‘Publication of our new Strategy follows 18 months of work including a public consultation and I am pleased that we are able to set out a clear direction for the next six years. The Strategy has been informed by the feedback we received from stakeholders during the consultation process and I thank all those who took the time to respond.’
