How to raise a concern

If you have a concern or an enquiry about an osteopath, or about treatment you have received, you can raise a concern by:

Sending us your concern

Please send your concerns form to us via email if possible: regulation@osteopathy.org.uk. This will ensure we are able to deal with your concerns as quickly as possible. To discuss alternative methods for sending us your concern, please contact us by telephone on 020 7357 6655 x224.

Once you have been in contact with us and if you decide that you would like to raise a formal concern, you can do so by completing our concerns form.

Complete the concerns form with as much detail as possible and send it to us, along with any supporting papers or documents you may have that are relevant to your concerns, such as:

  • correspondence between you and the osteopath
  • any notes you may have made
  • any medical investigations such as x-rays or MRI scans.

We may also need to take a statement from you and we will contact you to discuss this when we receive your completed form.
