New GOsC website now live

We’ve launched a new website to make it easier for patients, osteopath, members of the public and partners to find the information they need.

The new site has been designed to be clearer, easier to use and more accessible for those with different needs. Anyone visiting our website can easily search the Register of osteopaths, raise a concern about an osteopath, find guidance and resources on CPD and practising according the Osteopathic Practice Standards and, for osteopaths, keep their registration up to date.

Our new website includes:

We have listened to feedback from osteopaths, students, patients and our partners, testing how different people might find the information they need using our new website.

Our Chief Executive, Matthew Redford said: ‘This is an exciting moment for the GOsC.

‘The launch of the new website is part of our commitment to be an inclusive and innovative regulator: listening to the needs of our audiences and making use of digital platforms to help us regulate effectively.

‘Our new website will make it easier for people to find information, to help us to break down myths that exist about our work, and to put a ‘human face’ on who the GOsC is and on the work that we do. All of these things will help us strengthen trust with osteopaths, patients and partners.

‘And it’s important to note that this is not the end of this work.  We welcome further feedback and collaboration with the profession to make sure our new website is informative, clear and accessible. Please do share your thoughts with us directly.’
