Training courses

If you wish to study in the UK to become an osteopath, you must successfully complete one of the 'recognised' courses below to be eligible to apply for registration with us.

As well as the name of the institution and the courses each offers, we also provide details of when courses were recognised, latest reviews of the courses and any conditions attached to the approval.

Click on a course provider’s name to go straight to information about their courses.

Details of previously recognised qualifications can be found in our History of Recognised Qualifications - January 2015.

Monitoring standards of education

As part of our ongoing monitoring of standards of education, we conduct a major review of each course on a regular basis, usually every three to five years. The review is undertaken by the MOTT MACDONALD on our behalf (information about the process is currently being developed and will be available shortly).  Anyone with information that they would like to bring to the attention of the Visiting Team is invited to bring this to the attention of MOTT MACDONALD  by emailing Holly Shepeard on gosc@mottmac.com . Further details can be found in the Protocol for unsolicited information.

Feedback or concerns

If you have any feedback or concerns in relation to osteopathic education or the courses we recognise please contact Banye Kanon at  education@osteopathy.org.uk. All contacts with us will be treated in the strictest confidence.
