The Graduate Outcomes and Standards for Education and Training have been published following extensive consultation with osteopaths, educators, students, patients and stakeholders.
It is a criminal offence for people to describe themselves as an osteopath if they are not on the GOsC Register. Our Enforcement Policy Statement explains how we decide whether to take enforcement action against a person who is not on our Register.
Dr Patricia McClure has joined the GOsC Council representing Northern Ireland from 1 July 2022.
The General Osteopathic Council has met all the PSA’s Standards of Good Regulation for the twelfth year in succession; continuing to be the only health and care regulator with that record.
We are looking for an osteopath to join us as a Council Associate, with the opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to the work of GOsC’s Council.
The GOsC is inviting osteopaths to get involved in a project that seeks to make the o zone easier to use.
