We’ve published the 2021-22 joint report on whistleblowing disclosures, together with seven other healthcare professional regulators.

These resources have been developed as part of our collaborative research programme with the General Dental Council and the Collaborating Centre for Values Based Practice.

We are inviting views on the revised version of our practice note for questioning witnesses to ensure we meet the needs of those involved in our fitness to practise hearings.

We have published Supporting Professionals, Protecting Patients, for further discussion and reflection across the sector.

The Graduate Outcomes and Standards for Education and Training have been published following extensive consultation with osteopaths, educators, students, patients and stakeholders.

It is a criminal offence for people to describe themselves as an osteopath if they are not on the GOsC Register. Our Enforcement Policy Statement explains how we decide whether to take enforcement action against a person who is not on our Register.

Dr Patricia McClure has joined the GOsC Council representing Northern Ireland from 1 July 2022.

The General Osteopathic Council has met all the PSA’s Standards of Good Regulation for the twelfth year in succession; continuing to be the only health and care regulator with that record.
