Caroline qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy) in 1987, prior to which she obtained an Honours degree in Biological Sciences from London University.

Caroline returned to osteopathy in 1999, in private practice and also with cancer charities in the UK and Southern Ireland and is now in practice on the Isle of Wight.

In 2014, Caroline was appointed to the Investigating Committee of the GOsC and served on the Committee for six years before her appointment to Council.
