The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the UK regulator of osteopaths, has brought a successful prosecution against Gerard Garrote, who practised in Lambeth, London, for unlawfully describing himself as an osteopath despite never having been on the GOsC’s Register of osteopaths.

The GOsC’s Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) has found Mr Salah Said, of Hornchurch, Essex, guilty of unacceptable professional conduct and decided that the appropriate sanction would be to remove his name from the Register of osteopaths.
