Guidance for osteopaths

If you are an osteopath whose fitness to practise case has been referred for a hearing, this guidance will help you prepare for and attend the hearing.

Maintaining patient safety and public confidence in the osteopathic profession means that we must investigate and consider complaints about osteopaths' conduct, competence or health.

Our aim in producing this booklet is to provide guidance to osteopaths about preparing for, and attending, a hearing of the Professional Conduct Committee or Health Committee.
