Stephanie Jenkins joins our Council Associates programme following a successful recruitment campaign.

Stephanie Jenkins Stephanie graduated in 2025 from the University of St Mark & St John and currently works in a     multidisciplinary clinic supporting a wide range of patients, including people living with chronic   conditions.

Stephanie (pictured) said about her appointment: “I’m looking forward to this two year appointment, as the profession of osteopathy navigates and evolves within an increasingly complex healthcare landscape. In particular, I value the opportunity to develop skills beyond clinical practice and contribute more broadly to the profession.”

As a Council Associate starting in April 2026, Stephanie will attend GOsC Council meetings four times a year and will be given the opportunity to contribute to to them, as a result, towards the strategic direction of the organisation. Osteopaths, students, patients and members of the public are welcome to join the public meetings of Council. To come along, please email council@osteopathy.org.uk

The Council Associates programme aims to identify and develop future governance leaders within the profession who have the potential to develop their skills and knowledge to undertake future non-executive positions, either at the GOsC or elsewhere.

Stephanie will be our sixth Council Associate and will be taking over from Gabrielle Anderson  whose term came to a close at the end of March 2026.
