Continuing fitness to practise: seminar with osteopathy’s leading voices

18 July 2013

GOsC seminar for osteopathy’s key stakeholders focuses on continuing fitness to practise for the osteopathic profession.

The GOsC’s continuing fitness to practise seminar, on Thursday 18 July, brought together nearly 40 representatives of osteopathy’s ‘leading voices’ to discuss the development of continuing fitness to practise for the osteopathic profession.

Members of the General Osteopathic Council and senior GOsC staff were joined by representatives from the British Osteopathic Association, the Osteopathic Alliance organisations, the Council of Osteopathic Educational Institutions, the National Council for Osteopathic Research and patients to share information and ideas.

This follows the conclusion of a year long pilot of the GOsC draft scheme for revalidation and a consultation on the GOsC’s CPD scheme.
