The General Osteopathic Council regulates osteopaths in the UK

We work with the public and the osteopathic profession to promote patient safety by setting, maintaining and developing standards of osteopathic practice and conduct.

Check the Register

COVID-19: Osteopaths are being advised to use their professional judgement, in discussion with patients, to determine whether face-to-face treatment is appropriate, taking into account the likely benefits and risks, and they are being advised to ensure they explain these clearly so you are able to give your informed consent.

By law, osteopaths must be registered with us to practise in the UK. You can search the Register by surname, postcode, town, county, country or registration number.

COVID-19

We are encouraging osteopaths to remain
up-to-date with all public health statements and guidance issued in light of the recent outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Following recent government recommendations, our staff are working remotely and have limited phone access. If you have any queries, please email: covid19@osteopathy.org.uk.
