Share your views on draft guidance about the insurance requirements for osteopaths

1 September 2020

We are consulting on guidance which has been created to provide information about the insurance requirements for osteopaths and those intending to register as osteopaths with the GOsC.

You need to have adequate professional indemnity insurance (PII) and public liability insurance in place while registered with the GOsC. The guidance sets out the difference between these types of insurance and the key points to consider.

The purpose of this consultation is to:

  • Seek feedback about the clarity of the guidance to ensure that is clear as it can be and
  • help ensure osteopaths are meeting the necessary requirements.

Please share any feedback you have about the guidance by taking part in the consultation – there are just 4 questions to answer and you also have the opportunity to give any further feedback.

You can complete the consultation online or respond via email if you prefer. The closing date for responses is 13 October 2020.
