The General Osteopathic Council regulates osteopaths in the UK

We work with the public and the osteopathic profession to promote patient safety by setting, maintaining and developing standards of osteopathic practice and conduct.

COVID-19: We are encouraging osteopaths to remain up-to-date with all public health statements and guidance issued regarding COVID-19. Find out more on our COVID-19 hub.

Check the Register

By law, osteopaths must be registered with us to practise in the UK.

You can search the Register by surname, postcode, town, county, country or registration number.

Draft Strategic Plan

We are consulting on our draft Strategic Plan for 2024-30 and are seeking the views of osteopaths, patients and our stakeholders. We would like to listen, consider and reflect upon all feedback received ahead of final publication in early 2024. Closes Monday 4 December 2023.
