Training courses

On this page there is information about osteopathy training courses recognised by the General Osteopathic Council.

If you wish to practise as an osteopath in the UK, you must successfully complete one of the courses below in order to be eligible to apply for registration with us. As well as the name of the institution and the courses each offers, we also provide details of when courses were approved, latest reviews of the courses and any conditions attached to the approval. Monitoring standards of education

As part of our ongoing monitoring of standards of education, we conduct a major review of each course on a regular basis, usually every three to five years. The review is undertaken by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education on our behalf and information about the process can be found on the QAA website.
