Raising a concern

If you have a concern or an enquiry about an osteopath, or about treatment you have received, please call us on 020 7357 6655 x224, or send us your enquiry using our online form.

Please also read our leaflet, How to complain about an osteopath, which explains our concerns and complaints process and how to make a complaint.

Sending us your concern or complaint

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, please send your complaint form to us via email if possible: regulation@osteopathy.org.uk. This will ensure we are able to deal with your concerns as quickly as possible. To discuss alternative methods for sending us your complaint, please contact us by telephone on 0207 357 6655 ext 224.

Once you have been in contact with us and if you decide that you would like to make a formal complaint, you can do so by completing our complaint form.

Complete the complaint form with as much detail as possible and send it to us, along with any supporting papers or documents you may have that are relevant to your concerns, such as:

  • correspondence between you and the osteopath
  • any notes you may have made
  • any medical investigations such as x-rays or MRI scans.

The leaflet and form are also available in Welsh/Mae fersiwn Gymraeg o’r daflen hon a'r ffurflen ar gael:

We may also need to take a statement from you and we will contact you to discuss this when we receive your completed form.

What happens after we have received your complaint is explained on the Our complaints process page.

If you are unable to complete the complaints form, or require assistance to do so, please contact us using the contact details provided above.
