Quality assurance of osteopathic education: providers sought

The General Osteopathic Council is currently seeking providers to carry out quality assurance of osteopathic educational providers and osteopathic qualifications.

The purpose of the quality assurance is to ensure that students awarded ‘Recognised Qualifications’ as defined in Section 14 of the Osteopaths Act 1993 are meeting the Osteopathic Practice Standards.

A service provider is sought for an initial term of three years (subject to performance) with an option to extend to a total length of no more than five years.

This opportunity is advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) with details on the Tenders Direct and My Tenders websites.

The closing date for pre-qualification questionnaire submissions is at 12 noon on 2 December 2019.

The closing date for submission of completed tenders is at 12 noon on 20 January 2020.
