GOsC consults on registration fee reduction
26 October 2012
The GOsC is seeking views on how best to reduce the registration fee in 2013-14.
The GOsC is seeking registrants’ views on how best to reduce the registration fee in 2013-14.
Earlier this year, following a fundamental review of its costs and expenditure, the GOsC was able to reduce the headline registration fee by 10%. As a result of further cost savings, the Council agreed at its October meeting to consult registrants about a further fee reduction.
There are two consultation questions:
- Do you agree that identified savings should be passed back to registrants via a fee reduction?
- Should the registration fee reduction be focussed on the highest fee of £675 (Option 1) or spread across all registration fee levels (Option 2)?
The consultation opens today and closes on 25 November, with a view to implementing any agreed reduction by 1 May 2013.
Further information about the consultation and the consultation response form are available on this website at www.osteopathy.org.uk/news-and-resources/document-library/our-work/fee-consultation-results-further-info
The results of the consultation will be available on this website in due course, after the end of the consultation period.
