Deborah Smith is a GOsC osteopath member of Council and a member of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee
Deborah qualified from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (now the British College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 2002.
She completed an MSc in Child Health in 2011 and in 2015 she attained the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Deborah has held several associate positions in London and the Home Counties and worked as a principal establishing her own clinic. She also worked with Get Well UK, providing NHS treatments for two years.
In 2012 she was an assessor for the pilot of the GOsC revalidation scheme. Since 2014 Deborah has divided her time between working as an associate in Shefford, Bedfordshire, and running Mint Practice. Mint Practice assists practitioners with clinical compliance.
Deborah has researched and written practice leaflets, information on practice standards, and template policies and procedures for osteopaths and HCPC registrants working in private practice.
