Dr Daniel Bailey

Daniel Bailey is a GOsC osteopath member of Council and a member of the Policy and Education Committee

Daniel qualified from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (now the British College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 2002. Since then, he has worked in private practice in Wolverhampton, including five years as part of the medical team for a Premier League football club.

Daniel has also worked in osteopathic education for over 15 years: initially as a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University; then Module Leader for the College of Osteopaths; and most recently as Unit Leader at the University College of Osteopathy.

Daniel has obtained an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare and a PgCert in Academic and Clinical Education. He has also completed a PhD from Keele University’s school of medicine, which has involved leading various studies in the NHS investigating and measuring adherence to exercise for musculoskeletal (MSK) pain.

His committee experience includes: Chair/Trustee for a charity; non-shareholding Director for a resident management company, and Vice-Chair/Governor for a school providing secondary education for children with mental and physical health problems.
