In this section are details of how the development of revalidation is being managed and overseen.

The Council, makes decisions about the revalidation scheme and records of its decisions are contained within the Council meeting papers. In making its decisions the Council is advised by three working groups, which oversee the scheme’s development. These groups are:

• The Revalidation Standards and Assessment Working Group
• The Revalidation Public and Patient Involvement Group
• The Research Working Group
