The General Osteopathic Council produces a range of publications, which are available on this website. To request hard copies, if available, contact us on 020 7357 6655 x242 or email email@example.com.
What do we publish?
Our publications include the osteopath magazine, public information leaflets, annual reports, information about the standards of practice osteopaths must work to and Fitness to Practise annual reports.
You can find all these on this website, by using the navigation links on the left of this page. There is also information about the Publication Scheme we are required to have by the government under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The scheme contains a guide to information which tells you what information we publish and where you can find it.
Information in other formats
We are committed to ensuring the accessibility of all the information we produce.
If you would like a paper copy of a website page or of a document that is downloadable from this website, we will supply single copies free of charge.
Translations and large print
We will accommodate requests for translations into other languages and for documents in other formats, such as large print, wherever possible.
Single copies of most of our printed publications are available to the public free of charge. We may make charges for:
- producing multiple copies in paper or other formats
- certain hard copy publications, which we normally charge for
We will let you know how much this will cost when you request the information and we may ask you for payment in advance.
Transcripts of hearings
While transcripts of fitness to practise hearings are free to the parties to the hearings, we do charge for copies requested by anyone else. Depending on the redactions and editing that may be required, costs can vary, but start from £2.00 per page and include postage and packing for hard copies. We can give quotations on request and will need payment in advance.
