The General Osteopathic Council has introduced a mandatory scheme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for osteopaths.

What is CPD?

CPD is a term used to describe activities undertaken to maintain, enhance and develop existing knowledge and skills following the completion of a professional qualification.

What is required of an osteopath?

All osteopaths will be required to complete 30 hours of CPD activities each year, of which 15 hours must involve interaction with other professionals.
