The General Osteopathic Council has introduced a mandatory scheme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for osteopaths. |
What is CPD? |

CPD is a term used to describe activities undertaken to maintain, enhance and develop existing knowledge and skills following the completion of a professional qualification. |
What is required of an osteopath? |
|
All osteopaths will be required to complete 30 hours of CPD activities each year, of which 15 hours must involve interaction with other professionals. CPD Documentation: Continuing Professional Development – guidelines for osteopaths. |
